And in anticipation of the Final Defender’s arrival to New York City, Marvel is getting fans acquainted with his allies from the show.
Actor Jessica Henwick recently spoke about comic book influences for the show, and now she’s been given the poster treatment for the Iron Fist Facebook page.
Henwick plays Colleen Wing in the series, Danny Rand’s partner in asskicking and potential love interest.
We first caught wind of her appearance in Luke Cage, when Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple finds her phone number on a flier for martial arts training.
The series has revealed footage of Henwick in a few fight scenes, including an extended sequence featuring a cage fight between Wing and two other dudes during which she handily feeds them their own teeth.
Speaking about the role, Henwick previously said to Collider “From the comic books, I definitely wanted to pull out that sort of very dry humor that she has, and that no bullsh*t New Yorker demeanor.”
Fans will be able to see just how serious Henwick’s portrayal of Colleen Wing is when every episode of Iron Fist hits Netflix on March 17.
