The latest teaser for Marvel NOW!, the Fall 2016 refresh of the Marvel Comics lineup, features Captain America, Steve Rogers, still in his newest costume, or at least for now. The other side of the teaser shows off the newest addition to the Marvel Universe, the body-hopping anti-hero Mosaic, and both of them are shattered in the middle, from waist down.

It’s hard to say what that shatter mark signifies, whether it’s something symbolic or a physical break, whether it’s the entire character’s life coming apart or just the start of a an adventure, a new beginning. Unfortunately, with a Captain America who currently appears to be working for Hydra and a guy that can take over bodies and personalities, well, even if he’s described as an anti-hero, it’s still a little ominous. As Mosaic is an inhuman, this could signify a major split between human and inhuman heroes, as well. That speculation is helped by the lone word on the teaser, “Divided…”

Marvel NOW! returns as a brand-wide initiative, introducing new books, new storylines, and new creative teams in Fall 2016. The branding was first used in 2012, and has had several variations to it whenever Marvel Comics has decided to do a refresh. Marvel’s official description of the initiative follows:
