The cornerstone of Marvel’s Inhumans series will be the fight for the throne between the entire Inhuman royal family, but specifically Black Bolt, Medusa, and Maximus.
The newest clip from the upcoming series involves two of the three, as Medusa and Maximus share a few words. Specifically, Maximus attempts to woo the Inhuman queen, suggesting that at least the thought of an affair has been floated before.

As you might expect, Medusa doesn’t take kindly to the offer, and it isn’t long before the manipulative Maximus finds himself pinned against a wall by Medusa’s hair. Safe to assume that’s a firm no, Maximus. You can watch the full clip above.
As you can see in the clip, Medusa’s hair is in constant motion thanks to it also being her main power. Medusa actress Serinda Swan recently described the process of dealing with a practical wig and extensive CGI.
“I have a very beautiful, amazing wig that you see in some of the trailers and then a lot of it is CGI, obviously,” Swan said. “So it’s a mixture and its getting use to that and its like another limb, basically. So it’s getting used to having that and then dodging the wind and all of that fun stuff It was amazing to kind of learn how to function with four-and a half feet of hair.”
In Marvel’s Inhumans, after the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.
Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran, and Ellen Woglom.
Marvel’s Inhumans is executive produced by Scott Buck (Dexter, Marvel’s Iron Fist) with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage). Buck is serving as showrunner. Roel Reine (Admiral, Black Sails) will direct the first two episodes, which will debut in IMAX theaters.
