Award-winning composer composer Michael Giacchino has announced that he will be providing a magical score for Marvel’s Doctor Strange, which is being directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role.

Giacchino won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and two Grammy Awards for his work on 2010’s Up. He also nabbed an Emmy in 2005 for Outstanding Music Composition on the Lost: Pilot and a Grammy Award in 2008 for his Ratatouille score.

Giacchino’s other notable credits include a number of geek culture hits, such as Super 8, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, and J.J. Abrams’s Star Trek films. More recently, he scored Inside Out, Jupiter Ascending, Tomorrowland, and Zootopia.

Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

Marvel’s Dr. Strange will cast a spell on audiences November 4, 2016.
