The portrait will appear on Marvel’s SDCC stage this weekend, along with other props from various Marvel movies.
Rooker will return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 along with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillian, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel. Kurt Russell and Pom Klementieff will also appear in the new film, which will come out next year.
Marvel has a big weekend planned for ComicCon, with their traditional Saturday night presentation in Hall H. It’s possible that Marvel will show off new footage from this fall’s Doctor Strange or next year’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 or even make a big casting announcement. Marvel will also have panels featuring the casts of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel’s Luke Cage.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 comes out May 5, 2017.
