If you are waiting for any update on The Punisher, then you are in luck. The much-anticipated Netflix series has been in production since last October, but little news has come from the project since it set up camp. Aside from a few set photos, all has been quiet when it comes to Frank Castle but that may change soon enough. It looks like The Punisher has finally wrapped production, and footage be coming at fans faster than one of the anti-hero’s bullets.

Over on Twitter, netizens were quick to find photos from The Punisher‘s wrap party. In the pictures, fans can see Jon Bernthal surrounded by fellow co-stars and crew members. The pictures, which were first seen on Snapchat, show that the whole cast is in a lively mood – and fans are glad to see it.

After all, a happy cast and crew hopefully means work on The Punisher went smoothly. In the past months, sporadic set photos from the show have appeared online, and some images have shown very different takes on the Punisher. In several pictures, the character was shown without the beard he sported in season two of Daredevil. Other images have shown Frank Castle stealing a cop car like any Grand Theft Auto lover would.

The Punisher will see Steve Lightfoot write its first two episodes of the series, and he also serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Jim Chory and Jeph Loeb are on-board as executive producers.

The show’s cast includes Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Paige), Daniel Webber (Lewis Walcott), Jason R. Moore (Curtis Hoyle), Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie), Jamie Ray Newman (Sarah Lieberman), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Micro).

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist are all available on Netflix now, and the four heroes will team up in the upcoming Defenders. Somewhere in that mix is also the Punisher series, the second season of Jessica Jones, and the third season of Daredevil, but those have yet to be dated.

Are you excited for Bernthal’s Frank Castle to get his own Netflix series? Let us known in the ComicBook Anticipation Rankings below! A release date for Netflix’ Punisher series has not yet been announced.
