Thanks to some digital sleuthing on the LEGO image server some new pictures of an unreleased line teased at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 have been found, revealing new sets based on the LEGO Batman Movie, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
But these sets aren’t exactly for play—the new BrickHeadz line appears like a competitor to the popular Funko POP! vinyl figures.

Discovered by Brickset forum user CM4Sci, these images reveal a better look at the forthcoming line from LEGO’s Marvel and DC Superheroes lines.
While a few exclusive sets debuted at SDCC last year—two-packs featuring Doctor Strange and Black Panther, Superman and Wonder Woman, Batman and Joker, and Captain America and Iron Man—these models are the first to be available to the public at large, rumored to be available February 15th.
The DC line kicks off with characters from the LEGO Batman Movie and include Batman, Batgirl, the Joker, and Robin.
Marvel’s offering includes characters from their cinematic universe, with Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man from the film Captain America: Civil War, while the Hulk is the stand-alone figure representing Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Piece count ranges from 91 LEGO (Batman) to 151 (Joker), so expect the sets to be in the $15-to-$20 range when they hit shelves. Hit the gallery to check out the assembled models and packaging details.
