Sony recently announced a Venom movie, but you can’t mention Venom without Carnage, and now fans can see what the character might look like with a popular Gotham star attached.

Monaghan stars as Jerome Valeska on Gotham, but he recently expressed interest in wanting to play Carnage in the Venom project. Now thanks to artist extraordinaire BossLogic, you can see what that might look like, and it’s in a word, terrifying.
It’s also insanely accurate to the comic, and Monaghan has already shown he can play unhinged rather well as the Joker-esque Jerome. This seems like a match made in heaven, and given that Monaghan isn’t involved with the show every week like other characters, he might just have the flexibility to make it happen.
