The stars of the Marvel and DC Universes hail from all over the globe, so it's reasonable to understand that the actors have very different allegiances when it comes to sports teams.
In two weeks, the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will face off in the biggest game in American sports - the Super Bowl. Two stars of Marvel's The Avengers are die-hard fans of each of those teams, and they've already started to trade jabs over the upcoming game.

Samuel L. Jackson saw his beloved Falcons take out the Green Bay Packers early Sunday evening. The actor posted a video on Twitter of himself, popping a bottle of champagne, in one of Atlanta's sky boxes.
After the Patriots sealed their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, long-time New Englad fan Chris Evans had some words for his SHIELD boss.
The Captain America star taunted Jackson, saying that he was in for a "Patriots sponsored nightmare."
@SamuelLJackson looks like you better get ready for a patriots sponsored nightmare!

With two weeks until the game itself, the actors will have plenty of trash to talk over social media. Perhaps they will engage in another charity-themed bet, like Evans endulged with Chris Pratt a couple of years ago.
When the Patriots and Seahawks played in the big game, Evans and Pratt wagered a trip to the visit child-cancer patients in their costumes. Both actors ended up visiting both hospitals, showing that there are much more important things in the world than football.
