Avengers: Infinity War directors The Russo Bros. (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War) have posted a new video teasing a prop being made for Infinity War using a 3D printing process called stereolithography.
We have NO idea what it is, but we know fans will be discussing! Leave your best guess in the comments!
The Russos have been (teasing? Trolling?) fans like this throughout Infinity War's production. The directing duo previously tweeted a yellow blob as a "first look" at Infinity War, simultaneously playing on the current trend of superhero movie filmmakers using social media as a promotional channel, while also refraining from any actual big reveals.
As comments for the video have proven, this is not some mystery that Marvel die-hards are meant to instantly unravel; no telling if there is even anything to find, at all. The Russo Bros were involved in some quality comedy shows (Arrested Development, Community) with twisted senses of humor. They are clearly qualified to toy with fans' rabid desires to learn any and every scrap of info about this movie.
Doctor Strange is in theaters now, and next up for Marvel is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2on May 5, 2017. Spider-Man: Homecoming lands on July 7, 2017, followed by Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017. After that Black Panther debuts on February 16, 2018, while Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018. Ant-Man and the Wasp is slated for July 6, 2018, followed by Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
