Should Marvel and Larson come to an agreement and make the casting official, it will still be some time before we get our first official look at the cinematic version of Marvel’s premiere superheroine.

Fans will just have to use their imaginations in the meantime. Or, they could take a look at popular fan artist BossLogic’s latest piece, which reveals what Larson could look like as Captain Marvel. BossLogic’s image features a rendition of Larson wearing a version of Captain Marvel’s costume that has been slightly tweaked for use in film. Check it out in full below.

While Marvel Studios’ Avengers lineup has featured heroines Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, and the female-driven Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix has been well-received, Captain Marvel will be Marvel Studios’ first film headlined by woman, making it a hotly contested casting decision. Previous rumors suggested that Emily Blunt was being considered for the role, but she’s now taking on the role of Mary Poppins for Disney instead.

Captain Marvel’s debut was considered for the post-credits scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but Marvel Studios ultimately decided that tacking Carol’s debut onto a film the she wasn’t otherwise involved with would be selling the character short, instead opting to hold the introduction back until it can be given the space it deserves.
