After unveiling their first wave of SDCC exclusives, centered around the Star Wars universe, Funko added another fan-favorite license to their list – Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The Edgar Wright-directed film – based off of Bryan Lee O’Malley‘s popular graphic novel – captured audience’s hearts when it premiered in 2011.
While Funko has only recently produced collectibles based off of Scott Pilgrim‘s cast of characters, it is making up for it with this wave of new exclusives.
The line will feature a Pop! figure of Scott with the Sword of Destiny, which will have a limited run of 2,000 pieces. For those outside the con, a similarly-posed Nega Scott Pop! figure will also be available, which will be shared in stores nationwide during SDCC weekend. And the line will – to many fans’ surprise – feature a Pop! figure of Roxy Richter, one of Ramona Flowers’ seven evil exes. Roxy will be available in a limited run of 2,500 pieces.
For those who want to see the Scott Pilgrim world in one of Funko’s other lines, you’re in luck. Funko will also have a special three-pack of Scott Pilgrim Dorbz, which will have a limited run of 500 pieces. And finally, the series’ female lead, Ramona Flowers, will be getting the Rock Candy treatment, with only 1,250 pieces available.
These aren’t the only Scott Pilgrim collectibles that Funko has released. Aside from common figures of Scott, Ramona, and Knives Chau, fans have also had the chance to purchase several exclusive figures based off of the film. Fans were even treated to a three pack of Funko pops during last year’s SDCC, featuring Scott and his Sex-Bomb-Omb bandmates Stephen and Kim.
This newest wave of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World figures is sure to be a must have for those inside and outside of SDCC. Check out our gallery below to see the figures in their awesome glory.
