Harry Potter author and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenwriter J.K. Rowling has revealed a new word from her Wizarding World: "No-Maj."
"No-Maj" (pronounced "no madge") is the American English equivalent of the British English word "muggle," short for "no magic."
The word will be used by many of the Wizards that protagonist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) meet when he journeys to New York in 1926.
