Disney has transformed the humble beanie cap into something special with this new version based on Robin Williams’ Genie in the classic Aladdin animated film. The fact that the earring and the hair aren’t simply printed on is a nice touch. You could probably pull it down over your face and use it as a mask for a quick cosplay, though granting wishes gets pretty risky when you can’t see what you’re doing.

The Aladdin Genie beanie is available to pre-order right here for $22.99 with free shipping slated for June. Quantities are limited apparently, so grab one while you can.
On a related note, Disney also recently unveiled an adorable Aladdin teapot set based on the original 1992 animated movie. It features a shiny genie lamp teapot and a pair of glasses with Aladdin and Princess Jasmine designs. The set is available to pre-order right here for $38.99 with free shipping slated for December.
The ship date has already been pushed back from May, so reserve one before it gets pushed out even further. If you don’t want to wait, a similar genie lamp teapot is shipping now at Hot Topic for $49.90 sans glasses.
Finally, ThinkGeek is selling an exclusive rug designed to look like the magic carpet from the classic Aladdin animated movie. At the time of writing, it’s on sale for $49.99, which is 29% off the list price. You can grab one here with the discount while the sale lasts.
The rug is officially licensed by Disney, so we’re not sure why it isn’t an exact replica of the one featured in the movie. It’s pretty close though, and at 39″ x 70″, the size is decent. It would definitely be a fun addition to a room.
Disney’s live-action Aladdin film starring Will Smith as the Genie hits theaters on May 24th.
