Renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has spent more than 30 years establishing himself as one of the most singular and electrifying voices in all of Hollywood. Reservoir Dogs put him on the map in 1992, and he proceeded to flip the entire movie-making industry on upside-down just two years later with the release of Pulp Fiction. Each of his films since then has been memorable for movie lovers, so seeing some of his best titles land on the same streaming service is definitely exciting news for many.

At the start of September, Peacock added a slew of new movies to its streaming lineup, including three films that different pockets of Tarantino fans would argue are his best. Reservoir Dogs, the film that started QT’s career, arrived on Peacock this month, alongside the 2012 Western Django Unchained and 2015’s The Hateful Eight.
Reservoir Dogs and Django Unchained are usually involved in many conversations about Tarantino’s best work, but Hateful Eight is one that seems to be a little more divisive. Not everybody has it atop their QT rankings, but those that do are ready to vehemently back is as their favorite (count this writer among them). It’s a mashup of the highs Tarantino hit with his Western work while also a return to the whodunit type of story he told with Reservoir Dogs.
If The Hateful Eight is one of the Tarantino films you haven’t revisited in a while, do yourself a favor and give it another try while it’s on Peacock. The extended, episodic cut of the film is also available to stream, though it’s an exclusive at Netflix.
What’s New on Peacock?
Those Tarantino films are just a few of the new titles that hit Peacock at the start of September, which marked one of the strongest periods of new arrivals on the service in quite some time. Peacock was especially strong when it came to horror additions, really gearing up for the arrival of Halloween season.
