Despite clocking in at whopping 142 minutes, Avengers: Age of Ultron will have plenty more scenes for fans when it hits Blu-Ray and DVD later this year.
While discussing the Avengers sequel in a recent interview, director Joss Whedon said that he left several scenes on the cutting room floor. But more importantly, they will all be made available for home-release. While Whedon says he’s still proud of every scene that didn’t make into the theatrical release, he cautioned that viewers shouldn’t expect a “director’s cut” to Age of Ultron. The scenes will only be viewable, according to Whedon, on their own.
“People will see why we have [those scenes] in the first place,” Whedon said. You can check out his full thoughts on the bonus scenes in the clip below.
