Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed Until 2015

Earlier today, the new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight appeared online. While the biggest attraction in the trailer was the Batmobile's transformation into "battle mode," fans may also have noticed that the trailer said the game would be released in 2015, which was at odds with the previously expected Fall 2014 release. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has now officially announced that Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed until 2015. "We just want to make this the best experience that we can, and that takes time," Rocksteady Studios marketing manager Guy Perkins told GameSpot. "We feel that we have an absolutely awesome game in the works, and we want to make it as great as it possibly can be. We just need more time to do that. If we didn't give the team more time to do it, then we would be releasing something that we weren't happy with. We want to make sure we're absolutely nailing it 100 percent." Batman: Arkham Knight is the final game in Rocksteady's Batman Arkham trilogy. In the wake of the Joker's death in Batman: Arkham City, Scarecrow has unified the remaining members of Batman's rogue's gallery to put an end to Batman once and for all. Meanwhile, a new enemy, the Arkham Knight, appears with skills and smarts to match even Batman. Batman: Arkham Knight will be released in 2015.
