Cartoon Network has indeed pulled Beware the Batman from its schedule, but the series will return in January, according to the show's star, Anthony Ruivivar.
Asked by a fan on Twitter what the status of the next new episode was, Ruivivar simply apologized and said January, offering no details as to whether the show may have been behind schedule, if there were ratings and/or scheduling problems or what the series's long-term future is.
Beware the Batman launched this season along with Teen Titans Go as replacements for Young Justice and Green Lantern, both of which vanished from the schedule one day last fall and, when they returned, there was a ticking clock on them. The shows were cancelled not long after and the new DC shows announced.
Bruce Timm, legendary DC/Warner Bros. animation veteran, is reportedly working on a Justice League cartoon, which had led to some questions about the nature of the DC Nation block and whether both of the existing shows were sustainable if another was to be added. A comic book series dedicated to Katana, one of Batman's key supporting players in Beware the Batman, was recently cancelled.
