Weekly Shonen Jump has revealed the character designs for Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki in Boruto: Naruto the Movie.
Boruto and Sarada both appeared at the end of the Naruto manga. Boruto will be voiced in the anime movie by Yuko Sanpei, and Sarada will be voiced by Kokoro Kikuchi.

Mitsuki was not featured in the original Naruto manga, but appears in the miniseries Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the sequel, The Scarlet Spring.
Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama will return to play Naruto and Sasuke, respectively.
Shonen Jump also offered a summary of the film’s plot. We’ve included it below, but be warned that it contains SPOILERS for original Naruto manga’s ending:
Boruto is the son of the 7th Hokage Naruto who completely rejects his father. Behind this, he has feelings of wanting to surpass Naruto, who is respected as a hero. He ends up meeting his father’s friend Sasuke, and requests to become… his apprentice!? The curtain rises on the story of the new generation written by Masashi Kishimoto!
Creator Masashi Kishimoto penned the original story and script for the film, and designed the characters as well. He also serves as chief production supervisor. Hiroyuki Yamashita, who directed episodes of Naruto Shippลซden as well as Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, is directing the new film. Ukyล Kodachi is co-writing the script with Kishimoto.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie opens in Japanese theaters August 7.
