Conan O’Brien Talks Rejected Archie Death Scenarios

While it was previously announced that Archie Comics would be killing off its namesake character, Archie Andrews, in the pages of Life with Archie #36, it was just earlier this week that they revealed he would die by taking a bullet for Kevin Keller, his friend and Archie Comics’ first gay character.

On last night’s Conan, host Conan O’Brien theorized that such a noble death couldn’t have been the only idea the publisher had.

As you can see in the video, he runs through a few other possible death scenarios for Archie, including meth overdose, as a suicide bomber, and simply slipping in the shower.
