David Tennant, who played the 10th Doctor on BBC's Doctor Who, stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and then confusion set in.

Well, not confusion really, more like an homage to a classic Abbot and Costello bit called "Who's On First", in which the duo barbs goes back and forth, with the word "who" being the thing that throws Costello off. When your character is literally named Doctor Who, well, it kind of writes itself doesn't it?

The best part is at the end when Stephen states: "so you are an actor who played Doctor Who" to which Tennant replies "Well no s*** Sherlock", followed by "Cumberbatch" in unison.

You can see Colbert's exchange with his favorite Doctor above.
