The August issue of V Jump magazine reveals new plot details concerning Dragon Ball Super.

According to the magazine, the series picks up shortly after the Z Fighters’ final battle with Majin Buu. The magazine also confirms that the series will tie into the most recent Dragon Ball movie, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. Beerus and Whis, two characters introduced in the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and reappearing in Resurrection ‘F’, will also be series regulars in Super.
The magazine also contained a plot synopsis for Super‘s premiere episode:
After defeating Majin Buu, life is peaceful once again. Ordered by Chi-chi to earn money, Goku works even as he wants to train even more. Meanwhile, Goten, about to become a brother-in-law to Videl, sets out on a journey with Trunks to find her a present.
Dragon Ball Super will premiere July 5 on Fuji TV in Japan.
