Like The Walking Dead's Gale Anne Hurd, who we discussed earlier today, Lionsgate--the film studio behind this fall's much-anticipated Dredd 3D--is asking fans to chime in on social media and help create awareness of the film.
The movie, which opens Friday, is sponsoring a Twitter contest where fans can win movie posters, DVDs and replica Judge Dredd badges compliments of Lionsgate.
All you've got to do to qualify is to tweet about Dredd 3D or mention it on Facebook, using the hashtag #Dredd3D and/or the @Lionsgatemovies username on Twitter. Make sure to tag @comicbookdotcom or our Facebook page in your message, and at the end of the week, we'll randomly select two users as our prizewinners.
Both winners will get a Dredd 3D movie poster and badge, while one will also get a 3-pack of action films on DVD from Lionsgate.
No purchase is necessary, although Facebook entrants may have to like either the Dredd 3D page or the ComicBook.com page in order to make the mentions work properly so that you can be seen. If you can tag both of us without doing so, however, then that's not necessary, either (although, be honest, your life will be more fulfilled if you like those pages).
