Another Game of Thrones episode, another personal ratings best. "First of His Name" is now the highest rated episode of Game of Thrones ever, seen by 7.2 million viewers in its first airing. This is the third time this season that Game of Thrones has broken its personal best ratings record, beginning with the season premiere, which was the most watched episode of an HBO series since the series finale of The Sopranos. The fourth season of Game of Thrones is currently averaging 17.8 million viewers across all platforms, which is a 24 per cent increase over last year. Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on HBO.
