Nymphomaniac star Charlotte Gainsbourg is in talks to co-star in Independence Day 2, opposite Liam Hemsworth.
Gainbourg is known for starring in the works of director Lars Von Trier, including Nymphomaniac, Antichrist, and Melancholia. She's also appearing in The Science of Sleep and I'm Not There.
Independence Day 2 is a sequel 20 years in the making, with director Roland Emmerich returning, along with co-star Jeff Goldblum. The film's plot is unknown at this time.
Independence Day 2 is scheduled for theatrical released on June 24, 2016.
