It's Real: Final Fantasy VII Remake Coming First to PS4

Square Enix has their own press conference on Tuesday at E3 2015, but that didn't stop them from dropping a couple of bombs at Sony's Playstation briefing Monday night.

The biggest possible announcement the company could make, Final Fantasy VII: Remake is in development, and will come first to the PlayStation 4. Fans have wanted an updated version of the almost universally celebrated stand-out from the series, and have been teased, whether it's with another port or the CGI movie that acted as a sequel to the story, Advent Children. Well now, it's real.

No release date was given yet, but it is real, and it is coming.
