There have been lots of rumors circulating about Joseph Gordon Levitt and various comic book movies, but it looks like the comic book movie role he's ultimately landed is one that no one saw coming. According to Deadline, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has accepted a role in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will reportedly play the role of Johnny, which was a part that Johnny Depp was initially offered. Johnny is a core character, who overlaps into story lines featuring Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, and Dennis Haysbert. Deadline has also heard that Josh Brolin is up for a role in the movie as well. So what does this mean for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's other rumored comic book movie roles? Well, Deadline says he will not be taking the lead role in Guardians of the Galaxy. As far as Man of Steel and Justice League, his agent had previously denied those rumors, but who knows what may eventually happen.
