Hollywood has embraced comic book writer/creator Mark Millar; adapting Wanted, Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service into successful feature films. But what's next? Millar thinks Starlight and Chononauts will be the next two to make the leap to the big screen.

"I think Starlight's screenplay is finished now, it was written by Gary Whitta," Millar told JoBlo, "he finished the screenplay a couple of weeks back and we're just moving forward now looking for a director."

Starlight has been in development at 20th Century Fox since 2013. It tells the tale of a Flash Gordon-like hero who saved the universe but decides to return to Earth where nobody is aware of his heroics. He settles down, gets married, has kids and becomes an old man. When his old rocket shows up, he is called back for one last adventure.

As for the "Apollo 13 meets The Time Machine" comic book Chononauts, that is being developed by Universal. They scooped up the rights earlier this year and it seems they have locked in an actor for one of the two time-travelers. Millar said, "Chrononauts, there's one of the actors already and we're just looking for the second guy."

Who would you like to see play Corbin Quinn and Danny Reilly?
