Today, Mark Millar posted a tantalizing message on his facebook page: "Oh, listen. You know that Nemesis movie? Some big news over coming week..."

What could it be? Has 20th Century Fox finally given it the green light? Maybe. Remember, last month Millar said a Nemesis movie hinged on how successful Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service did, and this past week it went over the $100M benchmark at the domestic box office. Coincidence? I think not.

Joe Carnahan ("The Grey") has already finished the script, which Millar has described as "fantastic." It is just sitting there ready to be made.

Nemesis was a 4-issue comic, written by Millar and illustrated by Steve McNiven. What's the basic gist? Imagine if Batman was The Joker and this psychopath got his kicks from tormenting Jim Gordon by harming everyone around him. Instead of wearing black like Batman, the supervillain known as Nemesis wears an all white-suit and the Gordon-like character is named Blake Morrow.
