Marvel Announces Kirby Monster Variants For October

From Comic-Con San Diego's "Cup o' Joe" panel, Marvel Comics has revealed a series of monstrous variant covers honoring the legacy of legendary artist Jack Kirby.

Marvel chose to showcase Kirby's many monster creations – including Groot, Fin Fan Foom, and many more – since they covers will be released in October, during Halloween season.

Top tier artists such as Geof Darrow, Paul Pope, Art Adams, Eric Powell, Simon Bisley, and Cliff Chiang will be contributing to the series, and ComicBook.com has an exclusive first look at five of these covers, from Eric Powell, Erica Henderson and more.
