New Fighter Alex Debuts Today On Street Fighter V

Street Fighter V players now have an additional option when selecting their chosen fighter, as new challenger Alex is available starting today.
Alex is a mix of grapples and brutal close range moves, with lots of head-butts and hard strikes. The character requires you to be on top of your game when it comes to countering an opponent's moves since he doesn't seem to have many ranged options.
In addition to the new character, Street Fighter V also just received a few updates including the much asked for Challenge Mode and an Online Rematch Option for ranked matches. Since the real money aspect of SFV isn't launched yet (the Zenny Store), Alex is being offered as a free trial until that launches. After the Zenny store opens, you'll either have to use in-game currency (Fight Money), Zenny, or purchase the season pass to keep him.
