Batman Vs. Superman Movie

It looks like director Oliver Stone won't be standing in line to see Batman Vs. Superman on opening night. In a long rant to Forbes, Stone criticized pretty much everything that is popular right now ranging from the Breaking Bad finale to comic book movies. After blasting the Breaking Bad finale for being ridiculous, Stone set his sights on two of the world's most popular superheroes. Stone said, "It's only in the movies that you find this kind of fantasy violence. And that's infected the American culture; you young people believe all of this s***! Batman and Superman, you've lost your minds, and you don 't even know it! At least respect violence. I'm not saying don't show violence, but show it with authenticity." It's unclear if Stone has actually seen any recent Batman and Superman movies or if he's just reacting to the notion of Batman and Superman fighting in their next movie. Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel probably got closer to showing authentic violence than most previous superhero movies. However, it could also be that Stone is just not a DC Comics fan. He seemed to have a slightly more positive attitude toward Iron Man. Stone said, "But I think there might be in Iron Man… there could be some good stories about war profiteering, some good moral tales. I agree. Comics were that for that reason, remember?"
