Stan Lee To Write Graphic Autobiography With Peter David and Artist Colleen Doran

Comics legend Stan Lee is writing an autobiography -- perhaps not surprisingly, in graphic novel form -- and he's teaming with veteran creator Peter David and creator-owned comics icon Colleen Doran to do it.

Doran, creator of A Distant Soil and collaborator to Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, J. Michael Straczynski, Joe R. Lansdale, Tori Amos and more, announced it last week via her blog.

"I was surprised and thrilled that Stan wanted me on this project," wrote Doran. "It is drawn in a cartoonier style than I normally use, and it is quite fun. Wish I could show you some, but can't."

Titled Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir, the book will be released through Simon and Schuster. It will be available for $30 in October.
