Swamp Thing & Octopussy Star Louis Jourdan Has Passed Away At 93

French film and television star Louis Jourdan has passed away at the age of 93, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He died on Saturday at his Beverly Hills home.

Jourdan will be best remembered for the charming hero in Vincente Minnelli's 1958 musical confection Gigi and his sinister role Kamal Khan in the James Bond film Octopussy (1983) and villainous Anton Arcane in the film adaptation of DC Comics' Swamp Thing (1982) as well as its sequel The Return Of Swamp Thing (1989). Jourdan also played the title role in BBC's 1997 production of Count Dracula.

For six decades Jourdan was married to Berthe Frederique, until she died in 2014. They had a son together, Louis Henry Jourdan, but he died in 1981 due to a drug overdose.
