In tonight's new episode of The Walking Dead, Daryl is going to learn a valuable lesson: go with your gut.

Daryl's kindness has burned him several times. The character was reluctant to let any one in during the early days of the series but he has evolved into one who subtly takes care of others and has a few soft spots. But in the words of Deadpool, he's "got some hard spots, too."

His choice to spare a few lives earlier this season is one which will come back to haunt him very soon. Daryl and Carol talk about his decision to free the blonde man he encountered in the woods, ruling that he should have killed them. Sure, he got his bike back, but his crossbow is still out there and he's lucky to have found Abraham and Sasha after getting burnt by double-crossing thieves, as it is.

Carol tells Daryl saving people is who he is but Daryl looks like he's trying to shake that aspect of himself. He'll be motivated to when that blonde guy, who all signs point to being Dwight from the comics, makes his return.

So, is Daryl going to start killing everyone he meets?

Murder upon meeting is something Rick has grown fond of with the exception of Jesus. Daryl would merely be following in his footsteps. Plus, the group of baddies we're about to meet are going to be brutal. They're going to be exponentially more dangerous than the Governor and his buddies so Daryl adapting a new "kill everyone that isn't us" outlook would be pretty handy.

The only thing capable of stopping him would be his relationship with Aaron. He and Aaron have been optimistic about recruiting people for the Safe-Zone's population but even Aaron is skeptical of their approach. Since the Wolves attacked their home, Aaron has been blaming himself for leading them there. He was vocally onboard with Rick's plan when it was laid out in the church. If Aaron is willing to kill anyone to protect their way of life, Daryl certainly will be, too.

Do you think Daryl should just kill upon arrival?

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
