Fox has released a new video in which The X-Files cast and crew discuss tonight's "Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-monster" episode.

How is this twist on the traditional werewolf tale going to affect Mulder and Scully? "It has to do with I think both with them confronting their age and confronting their life choices," writer/producer/director Darin Morgan says in the video. "What made the show good was we're telling these supernatural stories but we always try to have kinda a human element."

When a dead body is found in the woods, Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate whether it was an animal attack, a serial killer or just maybe a strange creature as described by eyewitnesses. Meanwhile, Mulder is able to confront some of his own demons about feeling disillusioned with his life's work.

Episode was written and directed by Darin Morgan.

"Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-monster" episode of The X-Files airs Monday, Feb. 1 at 8PM ET/PT on FOX.
