star Tom Hiddleston told chat show This Morning that he expects the film to hit theaters in the U.K. in October, slightly ahead of the U.S. release date on November 8. In the video, embedded below via CBM, Hiddleston noted that he beleives the movie is coming to the U.K. at the end of October and said, "I am very excited about [the film]. It's a progression for the use of Thor and Loki now--these two brothers who've been in love and war across two films." Iron Man 3 and Marvel's The Avengers have both hit the international market a week or two before the U.S. While this helps to bolster the global box office and create a ton of hype and interest for the films in the week leading up the the American release, it also frustrates American fans who find themselves spoiled before the movie is released and creates an environment where the films are readily pirated on the Internet before their opening weekend.
