Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark - Drift

A new trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark has been released online. The trailer introduces Drift, the sword wielding Autobot. Formerly a Decepticon known as Dreadlock, Drift realized the error of his ways, switched sides and changed his name. His character design in Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark really takes the samurai subtext of the character and puts it in the foreground. In the game, Drift will be an expert close combat fighter. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is both the third installment of the War for Cybertron video game series and the fourth installment of the video game series based on the Transformers movies, with the two previously separate universes crossing over with each other for the first time. Players will be able to choose for either the Autobots or the Decepticons and will have over 40 characters to choose from. The story of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark takes place before the Ark is launched in the War for Cybertron timeline and simultaneously with the events of Transormers: Age of Extinction in the movie universe's timeline. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark comes to consoles, PC, and Nintendo 3DS on June 24.
