X-O Manowar may be coming to an end in September, but it’s going out in style. Valiant Entertainment is teasing the involvement of 50 artist in creating a special jam cover for X-O Manowar #50, ending Robert Venditti’s 56-issue run on Valliant’s flagship and longest-running title.

ComicBook can exclusivey reveal portions of the cover drawn by four top tier artists: Clayton Crain (4001 A.D., Rai, X-Force, Carnage) J.G. Jones (Final Crisis, Strange Fruit), Matt Kindt (Dept. H, Mind MGMT), and Tom Fowler (Quantum and Woody, Venom). Check out all four pieces in the gallery below, and look or the full X-O Manowar #50 jam cover to be revealed on Thursday.

When Valiant Entertainment launched its new superhero universe in 2012, X-O Manowar was one of the four initial launch titles, alongside Bloodshot, Harbinger, and Archer & Armstrong. X-O Manowar is the only one of those launch titles to have never been relaunched. Venditti has written the entire run, which has followed Aric Dacia, a Visigoth who was abducted by the alien species called the Vine. Aric manages to escape captivity by donning the Vine’s sacred manowar armor and returned to Earth only to learn that centuries had passed while he was in captivity and that his people are gone.

Earlier this May, Valliant Entertainment held the Valiant Summit at the United Citizens Brigade theater in New York City.At the summit, Valiant announced a new wave of titles kicking off in 2016, including Faith, Generation Zero, Britannia, Bloodshot U.S.A., Harbinger Renegades, Savage, and Divinity III.
