With the fourth and final Hunger Games film set to open this weekend, Vulture Remix has put together a new video reimagining what the franchise would like if it was produced a couple decades earlier.

To give The Hunger Games a 1992 retro look and feel, Louis Plamondon (aka Sleepy Skunk) added narration from the late, great voice-over artist Don LaFontaine, aka Mr. "In a World" narrator; and manipulated the footage to appear as though it came from an overused VHS cassette tape.

Check it out in the video below.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will be in theaters November 20.
