Game Of Thrones Reportedly Casts Bollywood Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh In Royal Role

Neil Nitin Mukesh has reportedly grabbed a role in Season 6 of Game of Thrones.

Mukesh told the Times of India that he got the role through Greg Powell, who was the action director on Mukesh's recent film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Powell has worked on films like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast and Furious 6, and Harry Potter, and is also the stunt director for Game of Thrones. It was Powell who Mukesh says offered him the role.

"Greg has directed two sword-fighting sequences in PRDP for which I had to train for over a month in order to get the stance and wrist movements right. He seemed pretty impressed with all the hard work I put in and made the offer when we were shooting for the climax scene a few months ago."

Mukesh says he is a huge Game of Thrones fan, and that he'll be playing a character similar to his character from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, in that both characters are royal and involved in combat.

HBO has not confirmed Mukesh's casting. If true, he may be playing another members of House Martell, the royal house of Dorne that was introduced in Season 5.

Game of Thrones Season 6 airs in 2016 on HBO.
