Power Rangers Meets Miley Cyrus In This Catchy Theme Song Mashup

Have you ever watched an episode of Power Rangers and thought, “man, Miley Cyrus would make that even better.” You haven’t? Well, you should’ve, because the pairing produces a fantastic result.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme song is one of the most addictive and beloved theme songs in popular culture. While you might think that statement guilty of hyperbole, listen to it once and try and get it out of your head for proof of its quality. That innate catchiness is why mashups of the song are so common, but YouTube creator and musician Neil Cicierega decided to pair it with an unlikely artist in Miley Cyrus, and you’ll probably be surprised at how well it turned out.

Specifically, Cicierega paired the Mighty Morphin theme with Miley’s hit song Party in the USA, which most pop fiends will tell you is addictive enough without Power Rangers thrown into the mix.

Regardless of if you like Miley Cyrus music or the Power Rangers theme, together they form a Megazord of musical chaos, surreal enough to go from “what the…” status to “silently nodding your head” in just a minute or so, and you can listen to it in full above.
