That’s what occurred over the weekend when 9 News anchor Corey Rose joined up with Make-A-Wish, the Power Rangers, and Downtown Denver BMW to give young cancer survivor Reagan her ultimate wish: to be a Power Ranger for a day (via 9News). Nine-year-old Reagan has been in a fight for her life for some time now, and is currently in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a disease that Rose has personal experience with.

Reagan loves the Power Rangers, and since her favorite color is blue the team decided to make her the Blue Ranger and enlist her help in saving Rose from the villainous Ripcon. Everyone chipped in to create a full experience, including a full training course for Reagan to battle her way through.

Once she figured out that Ripcon had taken Rose to the local BMW dealer, she followed the trailer and joined up with the Power Rangers Ninja Steel Red Ranger to take on Ripcon and save Rose. Reagan’s friends and family all gathered at the site of the climactic battle, celebrating her victory with uproarious applause.

It was quite the event, and when asked what her favorite part was Reagan said, “I like saving people.” The Power Rangers official account also acknowledged their new recruit, saying, “This weekend, we added a new Ranger to the squad! Welcome Reagan! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ˜ #Reagansavesdenver”
