The WWE Power Rangers

The larger than life characters of the WWE are no strangers to facing impossible odds, but if someone told Seth Rollins that he could call upon a Megazord the next time he faces Braun Strowman he would be over the moon.

The Power Rangers have that powerful luxury, though the two camps have more in common than you think. Hand to hand combat is always preferred to weapons or Zords, and both are capable of monumental physical and athletic feats. While it’s Rita Repulsa that sends most of the opposition the Rangers way, she has nothing on the authority, who are constantly out to shape the WWE in their own image.

So sit back, relax, and take in the WWE Power Rangers!

Yellow Ranger – Asuka

The Yellow Ranger has a penchant for compassion to those who earn it, but when the time calls for action there are fewer more skilled than her. Asuka has that same skill set, though with a slightly harder edge.

Trini is always able to stay focused on her end goal, even when chaos surrounds her, and in a world that contains giant mechs and monsters, it’s a skill worth emulating. You should feel bad for the Putties that get into Asuka’s way, and the Sabertooth Tiger perfectly embodies how lethal she is.

Blue Ranger – Seth Rollins

The Blue Ranger was always known for his technical prowess. While Seth Rollins might not be as good with a computer progam as Billy is, he isn’t called the Architect for nothing.

Billy has a knack for making something out of nothing and pulling out a win when things seem their bleakest. Rollins has an immense athletic gift, but it’s his ability for strategy and tactics that makes him one of the deadliest superstars in the ring. Both are essential pieces of any team, though someone should probably make sure Rollins doesn’t hit the other Zords with a giant chair, just to be safe.

Black Ranger – Kofi Kingston

The Black Ranger’s skill in hand to hand combat isn’t easily rivaled, but even in the midst of a knock-down drag out fight he manages to work some flair in. That describes Kofi Kingston to a tee.

The New Day’s resident acrobat performs amazing feats in the ring, and makes even the mundane maneuvers look otherworldly. You can just see Kingston jumping off of his Mastodon Zord towards the Putties below in some insane way, and while his moves are risky, they are extremely effective.

Pink Ranger – Nikki Bella

When things look their bleakest, you can always count on the Pink Ranger to swoop in and save the day. Whether it’s flying her Pterodactyl Zord into the enemy’s weak spot or just listening to something you need to get off your chest, she’s always there for her teammates.

Nikki Bella has been one of the linchpins of the WWE for some time, and has that same penchant for loyalty, given that she’s a babyface of course. She is powerful, beautiful, compassionate, and funny, and instantly makes the team better just by being there, and her abilities in the ring speak for themselves.

Long story short, you always want Nikki in your corner.

Red Ranger – Zack Ryder

The Red Ranger is the foundation on which everything else is built. He has to be everything to everybody while also maintaining his own identity in the midst of a crisis. You need someone genuinely likable, and someone who people will follow into battle unquestionably.

Enter Zack Ryder, who has the charisma and heart to pull it off in spades. His skills in the ring have always been stellar, and during his career, he’s managed to make the most out of whatever situation he was presented with. That perseverance and can-do attitude are what you need in a leader, and Long Island Iced Z is just what Zordon ordered.
