It seems that somewhere during all the Death Star hoopla the Empire looked into taking on some new gigs, including that of a Fort Worth Police Officer. Unfortunately for one particular Stormtrooper, his skills just aren’t up to snuff.

The Fort Worth Police Departement posted a recruiting video on their Facebook page (via THR), and it’s incredibly entertaining. A lone Stormtrooper stands next to an officer at the gun training range, and if anyone has seen a Star Wars film you can guess what happens next. Stormtroopers are more about volume and less about quality, and they are renowned for intense firefights that hardly actually result in anyone getting hit.
Try as he might, this Stormtrooper can’t buck the trend, and the officer even lets him get at point blank range. Of course, a Star Wars video wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from Darth Vader, who reprises his role from an earlier recruitment video from the same department. You can view the newest video in the clip above, and their first video below.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it’s the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core “Skywalker Saga” of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: “Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.”
