Unboxing Hasbro’s Star Wars Mando Mania Mailer

Disney and Lucasfilm are in the midst of their Mando Mania merch event in celebration of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 on Disney+. Each week, new Mandoverse products will debut, and it’s no surprise that Hasbro’s Star Wars offerings feature prominently. However, there are also some previously released products in Hasbro’s lineup that tie in with the events of Season 3, so they’ve sent out a promotional mailer to influencers that contains a treasure trove of collectibles from their adult-focused The Black Series and The Vintage Collection lines, along with plenty of toys that kids would love. Let’s take a peek inside shall we?

The crown jewels of the Mando Mania mailer are The Black Series Mandalorian Darksaber Force FX Elite Lightsaber and The Black Series Bo Katan Kryze Electronic helmet. We were especially impressed with the Darksaber, which feels like a premium replica in every way. Plus, the LED strip along the blade edge makes it stand out from other lightsabers in the lineup. Aficionados of the Force FX ligthsabers might find fault with unevenness of the light around the blade, but as you will see in the image gallery below, it still looks amazing in low light. Additional features include progressive power-up and power-down, motion sensor-controlled idle hum, and battle clash molten tip effects. It can also be recharged via USB and displayed with or without the blade.
