When Darth Vader Took On A Queen Xenomorph

The Stormtroopers of the Star Wars universe are in many ways viewed as canon fodder, and inaccurate ones at that. There are segments within the Empire though that are much more formidable, including the 501st Legion, otherwise known as Vader’s Fist.

Artist Guillemhp (real name Guillem Pongiluppi) has created some stunning illustrations pitting the famous unit against the oncoming Xenomorph invasion, a follow-up to his previous Stormtrooper vs Aliens episode. The 501st is made up of some of the most effective soldiers in the Empire, but the sheer numbers of the Xenomorphs prove to be a problem. That’s when reinforcements arrive in the form of their leader, Darth Vader. It’s here that the ultimate showdown takes place, with Vader staring down the Xenomorph Queen.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
