Watching The Walking Dead for the first time can be a lot to chew on. Especially when you start with 91 episodes to watch

One new fan of the AMC series recently binge watched the series but recorded their reactions by sending text messages to the friend who got them into it all along the way. After concluding the six and a half season run, the viewer took to Reddit to share the photos of their run through the series.
The texts, screenshotted and uploaded into the gallery at the bottom of the page, are a welcome trip down memory lane for The Walking Dead fans. Almost all of the main character deaths are recounted in immediate reaction text form, starting with “RIP Dale.”
Then, of course, not long after, the new fan says, “Also RIP Shane.”
They thought “Killer Within” was a lot to handle during Season 3 when T-Dog and Lori bowed out, saying, “God this episode is so sad,” but it was the midsaason 6 premiere that really got them. “And RIP Ron!” they wrote after the Anderson family got devoured in the entirely. “Carl just got popped!” they wrote. “So much is happening right now!”
Mercilessly, they hated the Governor. “I hate the Governor so much,” they wrote. “I’m not even mad that his girlfriend’s daughter died.” That’s just cruel…but not entirely unjustified.
Then, of course, there’s Dumpstergate 2015. This fan had the luck of knowing Glenn’s fate before seeing him buried beneath Nicholas and a horde of zombies.
“RIP Glenn,” they wrote. “Except not really because I already know he’s not dead.”
