The Walking Dead‘s Season 7 trailer which debuted at San Diego Comic Con was completely without any new footage of the possible victims from Negan‘s introduction.

This meant to preserve the mystery of “Who did Negan kill?” the team at AMC elected to keep Rick Grimes, Carl Grimes, Maggie Greene, Glenn Rhee, Abraham Ford, Sasha, Rosita Espinosa, Michonne, Aaron, Eugene Porter, and Daryl Dixon‘s futures completely out of the trailer. Zero clues were offered.

Now, one fan of The Walking Dead has recut the show’s Season 7 trailer using footage from the most recent eight episodes to give us a taste of what the trailer might have looked like if the mystery were not needing preservation. You can see it at the top of this page.

Of course, as we know, the trailer which debuted at San Diego Comic Con elected to follow another exciting new avenue which came into play in Season 7: The Kingdom. King Ezekiel (as portrayed by Khary Payton) was introduced along with his pet tiger Shiva. The characters will play a major role in the future of the AMC series though they have only been featured in one episode, so far.

In San Diego’s Hall H, the crowd erupted and nearly blew the roof off of the San Diego Convention Center when Shiva was revealed with a loud tiger roar matched only by the roar of 6,000 ecstatic fans.
