While this article talks about the events of last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, there aren’t really any spoilers to worry about if you haven’t seen the episode. The mistake happened in the first frame, and was just reiterating something that occurred back in December.

In the midseason finale, Daryl escaped from his cell and reunited with Rick. On his way out the door, he killed Fat Joey.

As this week’s episode – ‘Hostiles And Calamities‘ – began, viewers saw Dwight and some other Saviors discover Fat Joey’s body. It looked bloody and lifeless, just as Daryl left it. There was even a half-eaten sandwich lying on the ground beside him.

It was hard to notice, but there was one big change to the body from the last time we saw it.

As Kevin Fitzpatrick pointed out on Twitter, Fat Joeys body had definitely moved since the midseason finale. When you look at the two images side-by-side, it’s clear that he’s facing opposite directions.

In the early photo, you can see that Joey’s head is facing the bikes, and Daryl is preparing to leave. In the image from last night, he’s facing a different direction, with the bikes nowhere to be seen.

Jesus and Daryl didn’t move the guy, so this it likely a mistake that was missed during the taping of the episodes. It’s not vital to the story, just a small thing that fans were able to pick up on.

In addition to his apparent move, Joey’s body appears to have been physically altered. On version looks much thinner than the other, although that could be blamed on the camera angle.

If you take a close look at the ring of keys on his hip, they also seem to have moved position.
